A new model is proposed in this paper on color edge detection that uses the second derivative operators and data fusion mechanism. The second-order neighborhood shows connection between current pixel surroundings of pixel. This for each RGB component input image. Once image edges are detected three primary colors: red, green, blue, these colors merged using combination rule. Then, final decision applied to obtain segmentation. process allows different sources be combined, which essential improve information quality have an optimal Finally, segmentation results validated.
